Here’s a refresher on the steps we’d recommend for planning out your projects for the next two months.

1️⃣ List out all your “active” projects that you want to accomplish for the next two months.

2️⃣ Go through and sort your projects into ongoing vs. “focus” projects, and be honest about any you can put on hold. Then, challenge yourself to prioritize ONE key project each month, and number the rest of your projects in order of importance.

3️⃣ Once you know what projects you’ll be placing the most focus on, time to break down your projects—especially your “focus” projects—into individual tasks and estimate the amount of time or energy will take.

4️⃣ Now zoom the lens out to look at the big picture of your calendar and identify when you plan to work on each project. For your bigger focus projects, set milestones which will help you know what dates to assign your tasks.

5️⃣ Finally, go back and assign dates for all your project tasks. Now that you know your prioirities, your milestones, and your time/energy investments for each task, you’ll be able to more accurately plot each task on your calendar.

Let’s begin by listing out all your “active” projects.
If you have a projects database in Notion already, just replace the example Projects database below with your own. Adjust any filters to pull in only the projects you plan to focus on the next two months, or any ongoing projects.
Once you’ve pulled in each project, make sure you have a Key Result (or goal) assigned for each one. What would you like to have accomplished for each of these two months from now?
